I am carrying around quite a bit of excess weight. Quite a bit. I’ve decided that I am going to lose weight. I want to lose 150 pounds over the next year and half. I am trying to stay away from a specific number of pounds per month that I want to lose because my nutritionist suggested that I focus on goals that I can control. I can control whether or not I do cardio for 30 minutes 3 times a week. I can’t control whether my body loses 10 pounds every month.
Nutrition is the game changer, or rather the deal breaker. If I don’t get my eating habits under control this weight is not budging. This is a lifestyle change and I need to learn how to eat for the rest of my life, not just to drop a few pounds. The following are my stats and goals for November 2013.
Weight: 279 lbs
Waist: 43 1/2
1. Drink 1 gallon of water a day
2. Eat 2 servings of fruit a day
3. Eat meal on schedule
4. Sleep on a regular schedule
5. Eat 5 servings of veggies a day
Meal 1: 300 7:00 am
Meal 2: 100-200 10:00 am
Meal 3: 400-500 1:00 pm
Meal 4: 100-200 4:00 pm
Meal 5: 500-600 7:00 pm
Sun, Tues, Thurs cardio
Mon, Wed, Fri weights
Yoga Sun – Fri
